Job summary

PUSH, Inc. seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate assigned equipment used to install telecom and power utilities. The role supports digging, trenching, and utility installation with backhoe, mini excavator, and cable plow, plus basic labor tasks.

Ideal candidates have field experience around utilities, ability to read prints, and willingness to mentor teammates in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, track hoe.
• General knowledge of safety procedures and reading prints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Dig operations in rural and urban areas around utilities.
• Operate equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow or track hoe.
• Provide training to co-workers learning to be operators.
• Perform routine labor: conduit/duct/cable placement, pedestal setup; assist with other tasks.
• Drive tow vehicle hauling equipment to and around job site.
