Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a dedicated Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to operate heavy equipment and support vegetation management along electrical lines in Minnesota. The role requires driving to multiple sites and performing field tasks using bulldozers, backhoes, mowers, and stump grinders.

Candidate will work in varying weather, uphold safety standards, pass pre-employment screening, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as Bulldozers, Backhoes, Skid steers, Excavators, Loaders and Dump trucks.
• Gathers brush and feeds brush into wood chipper.
• Transport equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, and culverts.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in order.
