Job summary

Asplundh, a nationwide utility contractor, seeks an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. This full-time, hourly role requires operating heavy equipment and traveling to multi-state locations, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will perform equipment maintenance, assist with herbicide application, and work in various weather conditions along rights-of-way while protecting yourself and teammates.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with identifying tree species.
• Aware of electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders and dump trucks.
• Transport equipment to multi-state job locations.
• Uses a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps.
• Maintains and services trucks and equipment to keep them in good condition.
• Works around hazardous environments and wears appropriate protective gear.
