Job summary

Oxbow Carbon LLC in Texas City, TX is seeking an Operator Trainee 1 to learn operating heavy mobile equipment and support safety, quality, and productivity in the plant. Responsibilities include equipment operation, inspections, lubrication, and housekeeping while complying with safety guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma, with certification and industrial experience preferred. Must have a valid US driver’s license and TWIC eligibility, with weekend and night shifts possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Certification in related fields preferred.
• Two years of industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train in operation and minor maintenance of all on-site mobile equipment.
• Conduct readiness and repair inspections on heavy equipment and vehicles on-site.
• Operate front-end loader and bulldozer to move bulk materials and load trucks/railcars.
• Complete required work permits and safety documents; assist in safety procedures.
