In the Part-Time Heavy Equipment Operator Temp role at Shenandoah Brewery in Elkton, Virginia, you will be part of the brewery customer service team. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the movement and spotting of containers to facilitate warehouse needs in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage, maintaining knowledge of inventory and positioning, and performing the following duties.

This position reports to the Process Leader of Customer Service and works closely with warehouse, dispatch, brewery, and packaging departments.

What You'll Be Brewing

• Operate Yard Truck safely during roll-on/roll-off procedures involving loaded and empty containers.
• Drive and operate Yard Truck safely within the plant and storage areas, under 10 mph.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and report vehicle issues regularly.
• Operate locomotive safely, including staging railcars and managing rail switch alignments.
• Maintain a neat and efficient storage lot, comply with safety requirements, and communicate effectively with dispatch and plant personnel.
• Update transactions in SAP as required.
• Prioritize safety and quality in all tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
