Job summary

Hallett Materials, a CRH company, is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy machinery in groundwork and construction projects. You will work in utility capacity, shifting between tasks as demands require.

You will follow safety procedures, perform daily equipment checks, and assist in training less experienced staff. The role requires attention to quality, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities to contribute to site improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA regulations and company policies.
• Report problems to Foreperson, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR.
• Participate in duties such as shoveling and raking, etc.
• Perform daily safety checks of all equipment and site operations.
• Assist in training less experienced employees on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
