Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an Intermediate-level equipment operator to handle power construction machines for excavation, moving material and grading work on road projects. You will perform site maintenance, load and spread materials, and ensure safe operation across rough terrains.

The role requires the ability to follow instructions, work with a team, and pass safety and drug tests. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior field experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with field experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate power construction equipment to excavate, move and grade material.
• Load, haul, and dump on road surfaces and rights-of-way with various equipment.
• Construct ditches for culverts and pipes; install pipes and manage debris.
• Check fluid levels and lubrication; perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Instruct and train employees in safe operation and job techniques.
• Inspect equipment and report defects or issues.
