Job summary

The Caton Companies are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Wake County bridge and roadway project in Raleigh, NC. This full-time role involves operating a bulldozer, backhoe, road grader or loader and keeping equipment well‑maintained on a daily basis.

Starting pay is competitive and based on skills and experience. Overtime and out‑of‑town travel are common; a high school diploma and four years’ equipment experience are required, with CDL encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years’ experience with medium and heavy equipment.
• CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance.
