Jordan Foster Construction in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to operate loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and related machinery safely and efficiently on our projects.

You will follow safety policies, perform daily checks, read grade stakes, and support traffic and site readiness. Must have 2+ years in construction; CDL may be required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Follow established safety rules for heavy equipment operators.
• Follow directions, instructions, and procedures.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices for equipment.
• Check gauges and indicators to ensure proper operation.
• Flexible schedule including day/night shifts and overtime.
• Communicate effectively in English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders and backhoes.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Read and interpret grade and slope stakes and plans.
• Ensure equipment is stored safely and securely.
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed.
• Drive to job sites with tools and materials as required.
