Key Duties

• Maneuver equipment like backhoes, bulldozers, and excavators with precision and care.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and upkeep to guarantee peak operational efficiency.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to ensure project goals are met on schedule and within financial targets.
• Support the team by performing necessary excavation, site prep, and grading duties.
• Keep detailed logs regarding equipment operation and service history.
• Immediately notify management regarding any safety issues or mechanical failures.

Required Skills and Experience

• Completion of high school or a GED; additional industry certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrated history of successfully running heavy machinery within industrial or construction environments.
• Help ensure site security by maintaining a deep knowledge of machinery safety standards and operational rules.
• Capability to analyze and comprehend technical plans and blueprints.
