Job summary

Charah Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to safely load and move materials such as ash, dirt, and rock on-site. You will operate multiple machines, including dozers and loaders, and follow grade and elevation plans derived from engineered specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience operating heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with GPS grading systems preferred.
• Experience in ash management/landfills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or move materials (ash, dirt, rock) using heavy equipment.
• Drive and maneuver equipment with blades to level earth and terrain.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and other activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and determine needed service on equipment.
• Adjust controls to exact positions as required and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
