Job summary

B&S Site Development LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to support large-parcel civil construction projects in Manassas, VA. You will operate excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other machinery to prepare sites, trench for utilities, and backfill as needed.

Candidates must follow strict safety protocols, communicate clearly with crew members, and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment. This role is based on-site with our field teams in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Experience safely operating excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, and other heavy equipment.
• Ability to excavate trenches for utility installation with precision.
• Assist crews in storm, water, and sewer pipe installation.
• Follow all site safety protocols.
• Report injuries and accidents to the Foreman and Job Superintendent.
• Prepare construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.
• Communicate project specifications with coworkers as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
