Job summary

P&K Stone LLC in Chico, TX is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate dozers, loaders, excavators, skid steer, and haul trucks on site. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience, perform pre-shift inspections, and follow MSHA safety rules while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete pre-shift inspection reports and operate heavy equipment safely.
• Must be able to work scheduled hours, overtime, and weekends.
• Must read, write, and speak English; communicate via two-way radio.
• Must wear all required safety equipment and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment on site (dozers, loaders, haul trucks, excavators, skid steers).
• Perform daily or pre-shift inspections and ensure safe operation.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, orderly, and safe.
• Comply with MSHA and plant safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain good customer relationships by delivering on-site service.
• Assist with maintenance/repair and yard loading when needed.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and multitask as required.
