Job summary

P&K Stone LLC is seeking an Excavator Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on operating heavy mobile equipment, especially excavators, with additional duties on haul trucks, loaders, and dozers.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of heavy equipment experience, complete pre-shift inspections, read gauges, and communicate using a two-way radio. Work hours are 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Saturday, with overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to work 6 AM–6 PM, Monday–Saturday, with overtime and weekend shifts.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to communicate via two-way radio.
• Must wear required safety equipment and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre- and post-shift inspections and operate equipment safely.
• Operate heavy mobile equipment on site (excavators, dozers, loaders, haul trucks).
• Conduct site cleanup and maintain tools and areas in a safe condition.
• Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules; maintain safe work practices.
• Read gauges, interpret instructions, and work as part of a TEAM.
