Job summary

Overland Sand & Gravel is seeking a high performing equipment operator to join our team near Central City, NE. This role operates rubber tire loader, dozer, skid loader, excavator, or haul truck to move bulk materials and monitor plant systems for faults.

You will perform routine maintenance, follow safety programs and may assist with other mechanical tasks. Valid driver's license is required and heavy equipment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months heavy equipment moving experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment (rubber tire loader, track dozer, skid loader, excavator, or haul truck) to move bulk materials.
• Monitor plant equipment (conveyors, pumps, washers) for faults and perform maintenance as needed.
• Perform routine shop/equipment maintenance and support mechanical tasks.
• Abide by safety program and company policies at all times.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
