APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our Missouri operations. The role involves operating a range of construction equipment on diverse job sites while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

The position requires willingness to travel to remote sites and work nights or weekends as needed. Qualified candidates typically have 1–2 years of relevant experience or training, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain the necessary

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating heavy construction equipment.
• Understanding of safety procedures and OSHA/MSHA rules.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and job documents.
• Capable of math calculations for measurements and records.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders and backhoes safely and efficiently on various sites.
• Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA safety regulations.
• Report issues or incidents to supervisors promptly.
• Assist Foreman with daily assignments and project expectations.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report major problems.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and required paperwork.
• Help train less-experienced team members in operation and repair.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform other assigned tasks.
