Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a field-based Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy construction machinery across multiple job sites in Arkansas and nearby regions. You will follow OSHA/MSHA guidelines, support foremen, and contribute to timely project progress.

The role requires the ability to travel to remote sites, work uneven terrain, and maintain equipment. A pre-employment screen is required, with benefits including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment (excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, backhoes) safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Report issues to supervisors and maintain daily logs.
• Assist Foreman with project expectations and daily tasks.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic repairs.
• Complete daily inspections and required documentation.
• Train less-experienced team members in operation and upkeep.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Complete other assigned tasks as needed.
