Martin Marietta is currently looking for energized individuals to join our team at an underground limestone mine on the North side of Ames. This position would be responsible for operating a variety of mining equipment, including scalers, haul trucks, loaders and water trucks. This position works an overnight shift.

Essential Responsibilitiesu00A0

• Responsible for operating a variety of off road haulu00A0trucks and other equipment utilized in mining which could include scalers, loaders, skid loaders, etc.u00A0u00A0
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle and work area as assigned
• Observe visual and auditory signals during vehicle operationu00A0
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment; clean equipment
• Assist on plant maintenance and repairs as needed
• Other mining related duties as required

Minimum Education and Experience

• High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 1 year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities
