Overview

This is a skilled position requiring the safe and efficient operation of an articulating haul truck while maintaining a safety-first attitude. This position requires adherence to all company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as compliance with all federal and state regulations, including OSHA, MSHA, TCEQ, etc.

• The driver will be responsible for hauling and unloading massive quantities of raw material (sand and gravel) for production at the processing plant.
• The driver is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Will be required to help spot material dumps using agreed-upon hand signals and eye contact.
• Must keep time and material records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products and some ability to adapt to other computer software.

Other Requirements

• Work in all weather conditions within reason keeping the safety of oneself and team in mind.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• This position will be considered for work night shift roles if they become available. Evening and night shifts may be expected.

• An air brake skills test is required for all vehicles that have air brakes.
• Must be able to safely drive each piece of mobile equipment on and off the trailer and secure it for transport.

Education and/or Experience: Less than high school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
