PCL Industrial Construction Co. in Ray, North Dakota, is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Bison Power Generation Plant. The role offers $43.00 per hour with per diem eligibility for eligible employees.

The successful candidate will operate Dump Truck, Excavator, Dozer, and Skid Steer, perform routine maintenance, document logs, and follow project specifications. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and support safe site operations is required.

Qualifications

• DISA-Drug and Alcohol test.
• Must have minimal of 48+ verifiable work experience within craft
• Must have a current DOT
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30 OR Safety Essentials

Responsabilités

• Operate Dump Truck, Excavator, Dozer, Skid Steer according to project specifications.
• Document maintenance logs on assigned equipment.
• Operate gasoline, diesel, pneumatic, or electrically powered equipment to move objects or material.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as cleaning, greasing, and oiling machines.
• Understand manufacturer specifications and limitations for the equipment, including load capacities and safety warnings.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maintain readiness.
• Load and unload trucks and/or rail cars.
• Prioritize tasks according to the job schedule and directions.

Pay Rate: $43.00

Per Diem: $ 175.00 if eligible

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to run following equipment: Dump Truck, Excavator, Dozer, Skid steer
• Working knowledge of and experience working with rigging and lifting systems.
• Perform quality work as determined by the project specifications.
• Document maintenance logs on assigned equipment.
• Operate gasoline, diesel, pneumatic, or electrically powered equipment to move objects or material according to project specifications.
• Perform maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing, and oiling machines and equipment.
• Must understand manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of the assigned heavy equipment, such as load capacities, operating speeds, and specific hazard warnings and instructions.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maintain in an operable and reliable state of readiness.
• Scoop, lift, swing, or dump material.
• Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel.
• Assist in checking that areas are barricaded, and travel paths are clear and marked.
• Load and unload trucks and/or rail cars.
• Prioritize tasks according to job schedule and direction.
