Heritage Landscape Supply - White Marsh in White Marsh, MD is seeking a reliable Equipment Operator to join our mulch manufacturing team. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who understands heavy equipment, enjoys troubleshooting, and takes pride in keeping operations running efficiently.

Pay range: $21-$22 per hour. You will operate heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, grinders, and screeners, perform routine maintenance, and help maintain a clean, safe outdoor work site.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, grinders, and screening equipment.
• Lift and handle freight up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Able to work Monday–Saturday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including wheel loaders (Volvo L90), excavators, grinders, and dye machines.
• Keep yard area neat and organized.
• Some labor work will be involved.
• Monitor production processes to ensure high-quality mulch output.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize downtime.
• Load, move, and process raw materials safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
