Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in White Marsh, MD is seeking an Equipment Operator to join the mulch manufacturing team. This hands-on role requires operating heavy equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining efficient production.

Flexible schedule includes Monday–Saturday hours and a pay range of $21–$22 per hour. Responsibilities include operating wheel loaders, excavators, grinders, and screeners, keeping the yard tidy, and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating heavy equipment required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and fix minor issues.
• Able to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, grinders and dye machines.
• Keep yard area neat and organized and perform some labor tasks.
• Monitor production to ensure consistent mulch output and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment and troubleshoot issues.
