Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH company, is seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator to support asphalt paving and production activities in Kentucky. The role involves operating front-end loaders and other heavy machinery, ensuring safe and timely transportation of loads, and reporting to the Site Foreman.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of experience with heavy equipment, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work long hours in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, dozers, etc.) and follow safety procedures.
• Read and follow manuals and daily equipment checklists.
• Report to the Site Foreman and coordinate with laborers to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders and other heavy equipment to move materials.
• Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance as needed.
• Labor as required and support crew to ensure timely job completion.
