Job summary

Bulk Environmental & Industrial in Covington, GA seeks a Full Time Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate and maintain excavating and loading equipment at transfer stations.

You will load vehicles, perform daily inspections, report needs to the Field Supervisor, and complete required training. Candidates need at least 1 year of experience and ability to handle varied shifts in an outdoor setting with physical demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience loading vehicles.
• Experience operating Front End loader (CAT 950) and Grapple Excavator (Volvo EC220) or equivalent.
• Able to work varying shifts as needed.
• Communicate effectively with Field supervisor, fleet manager, drivers, and client representatives.
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles correctly and efficiently.
• Perform and document daily equipment inspections.
• Report breakdowns and operation needs to Field Supervisor.
• Grease, service, and clean the machine daily.
• Operate with the scale system to apply maximum weight legally.
• Complete company-issued training and certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
