Job summary

Bulk Environmental & Industrial is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to load vehicles and operate excavating equipment at transfer stations in Morrisville, NC. The role requires daily inspections and safe, efficient loading practices.

You will operate a CAT 950 and Volvo EC220, work varying shifts, and communicate with supervisors, fleet managers, drivers, and clients. Training and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience loading vehicles.
• Experience operating Front End loader (CAT 950) and Grapple Excavator (Volvo EC220) or equivalent.
• Be able to work the various shifts as needed.
• Must be able to communicate with Field supervisor, fleet manager, drivers, and client’s representatives.
• Follow thoroughly the safety rules and procedures.
• Must be able to work a changing schedule based on demand.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles correctly and efficiently.
• Perform and document daily inspections of the equipment.
• Communicate and report to the Field Supervisor on breakdowns and operation needs.
• Service, grease, and cleaning the machine on a daily basis.
• Work with the scale system to put the maximum allowed weight on the vehicles.
• Complete company issued training and certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
