Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks an Equipment Operator to drive and operate heavy equipment in the field to clear vegetation from electrical lines. The role requires readiness for outdoor work, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to transport equipment between sites. CDL is preferred and experience with various machinery is a plus. This is a full-time, non-exempt position offering weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with tree species and identify them.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers, and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barb wire; culverts, rocks and base where needed.
• Work around hazardous equipment while maintaining safe procedures.
• Wear hearing protection due to loud machinery and noise exposure.
