Job summary

WM is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator I for our Washtucna, WA site. This on-site role offers stable hours, competitive pay, and a benefits package designed to support you and your family.

You’ll operate heavy equipment, perform inspections, and help maintain safety standards in a team‑oriented environment. We value reliability, safety compliance, and the ability to work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, 6am–5pm.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Conducts routine equipment inspections and maintenance; keeps accurate records.
• Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with material moving equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
