Job summary

WM is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator I at our Portland, OR site. You’ll operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers and loaders, with a schedule Mon-Fri and rotating Saturdays, 6am–3:30pm, at a waste disposal site in Portland, OR.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; maintains records.
• Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with material moving equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
