Job summary

WM is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders at our Homer, GA site. The role offers stable hours, weekly schedule, and strong safety focus with opportunities for training and development.

You’ll work at multiple recycling facilities serving millions across the USA and contribute to safe, efficient operations. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with benefits including healthcare, stock purchase plan, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
• Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records.
• Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
• Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
