Job summary

Baltimore City Public Schools is seeking a skilled equipment operator to support district facilities maintenance and operations across multiple sites. The role requires a High School diploma, a Maryland Class A or B commercial driver’s license, and at least two years of experience operating heavy trucks or earth-moving equipment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Maryland Class A or B commercial driver's license or equivalent out of state.
• Two years of operation of trucks or earth-moving equipment.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate tandem dump trucks, front-end loaders and other heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment.
• Laboring tasks in building, grounds or highway maintenance and related duties.
• Adhere to all nondiscrimination policies and applicable laws.
