Job summary

Jacintoport International is seeking a Yard/Terminal worker to move different commodities at the port using heavy equipment and to perform a variety of physical, labor-intensive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must have at least one year of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain HAZMAT and TWIC credentials. This role requires flexibility in hours, a safety mindset, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment for at least one year.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain HAZMAT certification within 30 days and TWIC within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard and forklift equipment to move containers and cargo.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report defects to supervisor.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with foreman and co-workers to ensure correct loads.
• Assist with bagging and general terminal duties as needed.
