Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience driving heavy equipment (mule jockey, tractor trailer, 52K Forklift, Empty Handler, or Toploader).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be able to obtain HAZMAT certification within 30 days of start date.
• Must be able to obtain TWIC within 90 days of start date.
• Must be able to read, write and speak Basic English.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard truck and multiple forklifts to transport containers and cargo efficiently within tight timeframes.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report defects to maintenance.
• Maintain communication with Foreman to ensure correct loads and locations.
• Support general terminal duties and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Handle loads safely, including palletized and loose cargo, in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with bagging operations and other duties as needed.
