Job summary

Jacintoport-International-LLC is seeking a heavy equipment operator in Houston to move commodities using yard trucks and forklifts. The role requires operating 9K/30K/52K forklifts, with on-the-job training for additional gear within the first year.

A clean driving record and basic English are required, with overtime and night shifts possible. Starting at $26 per hour, this long-term position offers room for growth, benefits from day one, and opportunities to advance within a busy terminal

Qualifications

• One year of experience operating heavy equipment listed in the qualifications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must complete on-the-job training for additional heavy equipment within the first year.
• Must handle heavy cargo safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain HAZMAT certification within 30 days and TWIC within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard truck and forklifts to transport containers and cargo.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report defects.
• Maintain safe and clean work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Communicate with Foreman and team to move loads correctly.
