Job Description - Heavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck (2500018O)

What You’ll Do:

1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, actively ensuring safety for yourself and others.
2. Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials and finished products.
3. Inspect Equipment: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complete related documentation accurately.
4. Maintain Equipment: Check and maintain vehicle fluid levels and assist with minor maintenance tasks.
5. Monitor Processes and Surroundings: Oversee plant operations and report any issues needing maintenance or adjustments.
6. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of principles of operating and servicing heavy equipment is preferred.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, extended hours, and outdoors in all weather conditions, tolerating loud noises.
