What You’ll Do:

• Promote Safety: Prioritize safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards for yourself and others at all times.
• Operate Heavy Equipment: Operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
• Inspect Equipment: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; complete reports and documentation accurately.
• Maintain Equipment: Check vehicle fluids, perform minor maintenance, and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Monitor Processes: Observe plant operations and report maintenance or adjustments needed for safety.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Flexibility: Willing to work overtime, extended hours, outside in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
