Job summary

CRH is seeking an equipment operator in Kansas to safely run heavy machinery across diverse job sites. The role requires reliability, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to follow complex project directions.

You will participate in daily inspections, basic maintenance, and teamwork to ensure on-time project progress. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), 1–2 years of relevant experience, and a commitment to OSHA/MSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment (excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, backhoes) safely across job sites.
• Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA safety regulations.
• Report issues or incidents to supervisors promptly.
• Adhere to daily assignments and Foreman expectations.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and report major problems.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and required paperwork.
• Assist in training less-experienced team members.
