Job summary

GreenWaste is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support multiple facilities at our San Leandro site. The role requires operating industrial heavy machinery safely, adhering to OSHA procedures, and coordinating with spotters to manage traffic on tipping floors.

We look for candidates who can work in a fast-paced environment, follow safety protocols, and communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish. The position is regular full-time, on-site with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills for job duties.
• LOTO training or certification is required or preferred.
• Proficiency in English and/or Spanish is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Operate wheel loaders and other heavy equipment.
• Load trucks and processing equipment.
• Maintain site roads and terrain; assist with unloading as needed.
• Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report issues to supervisor.
