Job summary

Adams Land and Cattle is seeking a self-motivated individual to assist with pen maintenance at our South Lot in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Our heavy equipment team operates a broad variety of modern equipment for optimizing the living environment of cattle and to support the other earth moving aspects of a large cattle and farming operation.

The schedule for this position is a rotating 4 days on and 4 days off. This role requires a mechanically inclined candidate with experience in pen manure

Qualifications

• Experience operating large diesel-powered equipment.
• Background in pen manure management and maintenance.
• Ability to learn and operate multiple pieces of equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Adaptability to weather and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely (loaders, dump trucks, tractors, graders, dozers).
• Piling manure, loading trucks, hauling manure, drag scraping pens, repairing bunkpads and vet pens.
• Maintain pens according to strategy; minimize damage and cost.
• Ensure equipment is maintained, greased, cleaned, and PM tasks completed on time.
• Complete daily activity sheets and logs.
