Job summary

Adams Land and Cattle is seeking a self-motivated individual to assist with pen maintenance at our South Lot in Broken Bow, Nebraska. The role involves operating a range of heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance, and following safety protocols to support cattle housing and workload efficiency.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, experienced with diesel-powered equipment, able to work in adverse weather, and a strong team player committed to safety and quality in a demanding

Qualifications

Valid Driver's License.
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
Experience with heavy diesel-powered equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate loaders, articulated dump trucks, tractors, skid steers, dirt scrapers, grader, and dozers in a safe manner.
Pile manure, load trucks, haul manure, drag scrape pens, repair bunkpads and vet pen areas, and clean bunkpads.
Track drainways for drying and perform GPS dozing of drainways as needed.
Execute goals to maintain and repair pens according to the management team's strategy.
Ensure equipment is maintained, greased, washed, and preventive maintenance is completed timely.
Support storm recovery efforts and complete daily activity logs.
