Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator/Driller Trainee (Construction) in Argyle, NY. Starting hourly earnings range from $20 to $22, plus travel stipend. You will gain practical experience on backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, and drill-related operations with strong safety

Qualifications

• Equipment operating experience is helpful (earth moving construction equipment, farm equipment, timber harvesting equipment, etc.)
• Valid Driver's License with own transportation
• Experience as construction laborer
• Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation
• Mechanical aptitude based on past experience around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems, desired
• Must successfully pass ATF screenings

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment safely under supervision
• Learn drill patterns and terminology and execute drill layout
• Perform daily maintenance for safe, efficient operation
• Adhere to Company Safety Policies and Procedures
• Out of town travel and overtime may be required
• Coordinate supplies with Blaster and carry tools
