Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Florida plant. You will operate dozers and loaders, move materials, and assist with maintenance tasks as needed. The role emphasizes safety and efficient material handling to keep production on track.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2–3 years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to learn. OT and on-call duties may apply; we value reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience operating heavy equipment such as load and/or haul trucks or related equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate large vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers and loaders to move materials around the plant.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and assist with minor service/repairs.
• Follow all plant safety guidelines and maintain housekeeping around equipment.
• Load and unload materials and assist in stockpiling at the plant.
• Assist maintenance and ensure equipment is ready for scheduled maintenance.
