Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring an Equipment Operator to remove branches and vegetation from electrical lines using heavy equipment. The role involves driving and operating multiple machines, transporting gear across states, and performing on-site tasks in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Driver license required.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers, and stump grinders.
• Transports equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Installs and removes gates, fences, barb wire, culverts, rocks and base.
• Works on rough terrain along highways, side roads and rights-of-way.
• Uses a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and large-tree stumps.
• Gathers brush and feeds into a wood chipper.
• Applies chemical herbicide to rights-of-way in accordance with procedures.
• Operates truck-mounted spray equipment or backpack sprayers for remote areas.
