Job summary

Bulk Environmental & Industrial in Austell, GA seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to maintain and operate excavating and loading equipment at transfer stations. You will load vehicles, perform inspections, and report needs to the Field Supervisor.

The role requires at least 1 year of loading experience and experience with CAT 950 front-end loader and Volvo EC220 grapple excavator, plus ability to work varied shifts and comply with safety rules.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience loading vehicles.
Experience operating Front End loader (CAT 950) and Grapple Excavator (Volvo EC220) or equivalent.
Be able to work the various shifts as needed.
Must be able to communicate with Field supervisor, fleet manager, drivers, and client’s representatives.
Follow thoroughly the safety rules and procedures.
Must be able to work a changing schedule based on demand.

Responsibilities

Load vehicles correctly and efficiently.
Perform and document daily inspections of the equipment.
Communicate and report to the Field Supervisor on breakdowns and operation needs.
Service, grease, and cleaning the machine on a daily basis.
Work with the scale system to put the maximum allowed weight on the vehicles.
Complete company issued training and certifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
