Job summary

Bulk Environmental & Industrial is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to maintain and operate excavating and loading equipment at transfer stations. You will be responsible for safe operation and routine maintenance of assigned machines.

Includes load optimization, daily inspections, and clear communication with the Field Supervisor. This role requires adaptability to changing schedules and a strong commitment to safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience loading vehicles.
• Experience operating CAT 950 loader and Volvo EC220 grapple excavator.
• Ability to work various shifts as needed.
• Clear communication with Field supervisor, fleet manager, drivers, and client representatives.
• Follow safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules based on demand.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles correctly and efficiently.
• Perform and document daily inspections of the equipment.
• Communicate and report to the Field Supervisor on breakdowns and operation needs.
• Service, grease, and clean the machine on a daily basis.
• Work with the scale system to put the maximum allowed weight on the vehicles.
• Complete company issued training and certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
