Job summary

Bulk Environmental & Industrial in Covington, GA is seeking a Full Time Heavy Equipment Operator to maintain and operate excavating and loading equipment at transfer stations. The role involves loading vehicles, performing daily equipment inspections, and reporting to the Field Supervisor.

You will also grease and clean the machine daily, work with the scale system to maximize vehicle weight, complete required training, and adapt to varying shifts while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience loading vehicles.
• Experience operating CAT 950 loader or Volvo EC220 grapple excavator.
• Ability to work varying shifts as needed.
• Must communicate with Field Supervisor, fleet manager, drivers, and client’s representatives.
• Follow thoroughly the safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles correctly and efficiently.
• Perform daily inspections of the equipment.
• Report to the Field Supervisor on breakdowns and operation needs.
• Grease and clean the machine daily.
• Work with the scale system to maximize vehicle weight.
• Complete company issued training and certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
