Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy construction equipment in the Greensboro, North Carolina area. You will perform pre/post-operation checks, dig trenches, grade land, and move materials per project plans while following OSHA and site safety rules.

The role requires at least 2 years of equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read blueprints and grade stakes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL A/B a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.
• Proven safe operation of multiple heavy equipment types.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and trenchers safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and daily maintenance checks.
• Dig trenches, excavate foundations, grade land, and move materials per plans.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations on site.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew; maintain clean work area.
