Job summary

WME Express seeks an experienced Heavy Machinery Operator to operate and test 20-ton mining vehicles. You will perform inspections, support testing, and relay feedback to engineering teams while adhering to safety and DOT standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years on heavy equipment, experience with haul trucks, and the ability to travel up to 50%. CDL-A is a plus, though not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Experience with rigid-frame or articulated haul trucks preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass required checks.
• Able to drive for extended periods and meet DOT requirements.
• CDL-A is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and back 20-ton mining vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete DVIRs and report equipment issues.
• Support vehicle hardware and software testing.
• Provide feedback to engineers on vehicle performance.
• Operate other fleet vehicles when needed.
• Follow all safety and DOT requirements.
