Position Summary:

The equipment operator safely and effectively operates heavy equipment during daily operations, ensuring the operations floor is clear of obstacles and traffic flows smoothly, efficiently, and safely to maintain production.

Your Role:

• Operate heavy equipment safely to maintain productivity during daily operations.
• Ensure the operation area is clear of obstacles and traffic flows smoothly.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operation, including keeping the floor clean and dust levels low using water trucks and loaders.
• Load and monitor transfer trucks, trailers, and rail cars.
• Operate other equipment such as forklifts, manlifts, skid steers, and similar machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report malfunctions.
• Work all assigned shifts as scheduled.
• Participate actively in safety and health improvements and meetings.
• Follow safety procedures, hazard analyses, and operational instructions.
• Maintain punctual attendance in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Adapt to changing duties based on business needs.
