Role Description The Heavy Equipment Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rising Sun, MD. The Heavy Equipment Operator will safely operate various types of heavy equipment for excavation, grading, and site preparation, following project plans and supervisor instructions. Daily tasks include performing pre- and post-operation inspections, monitoring equipment performance, and reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns. The role involves working closely with crew members to coordinate equipment use, maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. The Heavy Equipment Operator may also assist with basic maintenance tasks and support other field operations as needed.
