V MCGEE INC. is hiring an Equipment Operator (Finisher) in Olive Branch, MS. The role requires at least 3 years of excavator experience and includes operating heavy equipment, finishing, clearing, burning, and loading trucks.

CDL is a plus. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, vacation, and holiday pay. Starting pay is $27.00 per hour, with overtime eligibility after 40 hours. Full-time, with opportunities on major local projects.

Qualifications

• Dozer and Excavator skills required; tractor and pan experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
• Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance.
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
• Ensure company equipment, materials, and the worksite are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
• Observe distribution of materials and indicate low spots for workers to add material.
• Complete assigned tasks and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner

V MCGEE INC. is a construction/hauling company located in Olive Branch, Mississippi. V McGee has worked on many major projects in the City of Memphis and numerous Memphis City Airport jobs since 1999. We're hiring a heavy-duty operator to join our team!

Skills: We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of excavator experience. Tractor and Pan experience are helpful, but Dozer and Excavator Skills are required. Must be qualified in finishing, clearing, burning, and loading trucks. Having a CDL is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of heavy equipment experience.
